My Memories Suite Giveaway!

Folks,  oh boy do I have a WONDERFUL surprise that I am about to share with you!

Recently, I was asked by My Memories to review the newest version of their digital scrapbooking software,
My Memories Suite Verson 3, and I've got to say, friends, it's pretty darn amazing!
As a professional photographer and a creator/designer of custom high resolution photo cards, I use my Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom programs to do most of my editing and post-production. But, I've got to say that the technology offered by
My Memories has many wonderful, convenient, and easy to use advantages. I've noticed that in using this software I am able to not only customize my very own digital scrapbooking albums from loads of design options, but I can also create blog buttons, printables, headers, and more in just a matter of minutes!

If you know me well, you know that I LOVE to scrapbook, particularly the old fashioned way. (You can visit a past post on preserving memories through the art of scrapbooking here.) But what's really nice about using My Memories digital scrapbooking software is the ability to create memorable gorgeous pieces of art without all the mess!

Take this A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. page I created to remember my daughter's sweet first birthday party.
Precious, wouldn't you agree?!

I couldn't just stop there! While exploring the vast capabilities of this very same software I then also decided to create a
blog-a-versary button that I plan to showcase this December. Let me share with you now the step-by-step approach for just how I was easily able to do so.

First, open the software and select a new album. I chose square in this case to make my button.
I changed the units to pixels, and customized it to 200x200.

I then had fun selecting from various background options. There are extra digital kits on the website that have embellishments, papers, word art, etc in loads of colors and themes that are also available for purchase.

After I made my background choice, I then added and centered a couple rectangles and a fun flower to add a little character.

Lastly, I added my custom text.

And Viola!

And check this out... I made a lovely header too! Pretty snazzy, huh?!
I just picked Landscape for my album type, specified the pixels, and had a blast designing.
(Header is 3000x1000 when full size).

There are many more amazing creative ways to use this fabulous software, and I just know you would LOVE to try it yourselves! That is why I am sooo very excited to announce that My Memories has offered to giveaway a

  4. Hey Breena, I'm Connie at Hot Flash'n Craft'n. Thanks for stopping by and follow me. I love new friends. Following back, GFC. I will try for the giveaway, but at some point I stopped joining all of the oh so many ways to follow. I got tire of coming up with passwords..lol, no that's not it, honestly I don't have the time to maintain all of them. I just kind of figured out my Business facebook, and with all that ad hoopla going on, I'm thinking of just ending both accounts. Isn't facebook like making enough $$ already? Enough babble, I'll try to win it.
